YMCA and CAC Work Together in Harmony

Randy Grant, YMCA’s new Executive Director, has jumped in with both feet introducing himself and some fresh ideas to our community since he took over this position one year ago. Randy is dedicated to building interagency cooperation and community networks as he reaches out to our valley. Recently an opportunity arose for our ministry to team up with the Y. Four men from CAC, Delbert, Darrell, Dean, and Paul, stepped forward and volunteered to help with the YMCA’s remodeling of their Harmony Room. All total, they donated over 120 man-hours installing laminate flooring, baseboard and mirrors. It was a win/win situation for everyone. The YMCA now has a beautiful space for activities and classes and the project gave our guests at the Christian Aid Center an opportunity to give back to the community.
