God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen

  This past Christmas, several of the men staying at our shelter formed a small men’s chorus and “made a joyful noise” singing carols at various nursing homes, churches, and venues within the community. The men’s enthusiasm and big smiles reflected the joy of Jesus in their hearts and the positive changes He has made in their lives. We’re not sure if they are planning to go “on tour” in the future, but we are hopeful the CAC Men’s Christmas Chorus will become a yearly event!

Finding God in Unexpected Places

When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which he has given you. A jail cell, a cement bunk, a blanket and a Bible. Not exactly the place where you would expect a miracle, but God has a way of redeeming even the most difficult circumstances by His grace. During one of the darkest time in his life, John found God - a Divine encounter that eventually changed the course of his life.
